The purpose of this research study is to look at how DUPIXENT is used in normal care of patients with EoE. Possible benefits to others include a better understanding of EoE and helping to inform research and clinical trial design leading to treatment decisions in this patient population going forward. Patient questionnaires will measure the following: - How EoE makes one feel - EoE signs and/or symptoms, eg, how difficult it is to swallow - How EoE affects quality-of-life - How EoE impacts aspects of daily life - How EoE symptoms have changed throughout the study Type: Observational [Patient Registry] Start Date: Nov 2024 |

The goal of this observational study is to research the impact of molecular signals from the heart, liver and fat tissue on cardiovascular disease risk, and the presentation of Type II Diabetes and diseases that affect the heart, blood vessels and metabolism (Cardiometabolic Disease). Specifically, the focus is on the content and function of Extracellular Vesicles (EVs), small sacs released from a cell's surface that contain important molecular cargo. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. What molecular cargo do adipose-tissue EVs carry? 2. How do these cargo impact cardiac and hepatic function? 3. Are changes in EV content related to cardiac function and adiposity with weight loss? Tissue samples from fat tissue and blood samples will be collected from patients receiving bariatric weight loss surgery. Type: Observational Start Date: Feb 2019 |

This study will test the safety and effects of SBT777101 when given as a single dose to subjects with rheumatoid arthritis. It is the first study of this treatment being done in humans. Increasing dose levels will be given after the safety at lower dose levels is shown. Following completion of the initial single ascending dose cohorts, the study may evaluate alternative administration regimens of SBT777101, including split-dose administration. In the split-dose cohort, participants may receive two intravenous infusions of SBT777101 derived from a single manufacturing process, administered approximately 6 weeks apart. The study will continue to evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary clinical activity. Type: Interventional Start Date: Mar 2024 |

This research aims to improve the management of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), a condition that can develop after pancreatitis, a painful inflammation of the pancreas. EPI occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough enzymes to help the body properly digest food. While pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) is commonly used to manage EPI symptoms, it can be challenging for people who rely on feeding tubes. RELiZORB, could help these patients by simplifying the delivery of the enzymes they need. However, RELiZORB has only been studied in people with EPI caused by cystic fibrosis, so its effectiveness in pancreatitis patients remains unknown. This study aims to determine whether RELiZORB is effective for individuals requiring feeding tube support after pancreatitis. Type: Interventional Start Date: Mar 2025 |

The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to learn if the use of a low-dose nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), ketorolac, reduces the rate of chronic opioid use in orthopaedic trauma patients. The main questions this study aims to answer are: 1. Are patients who are given scheduled ketorolac during the first five days of the perioperative period in combination with standard of care (SOC) multimodal analgesia (MMA) less likely to develop chronic opioid use at 6 months after injury compared to patients who SOC MMA alone? 2. Does scheduled ketorolac during the first five days of the perioperative period improve functional responses to pain at discharge, 3 months, and 6 months after injury? 3. Does early pain control provided by ketorolac decrease chronic opioid use through decreased acute pain and opioid use, improved functional responses to pain, or both? Participants will be enrolled and randomized to either the ketorolac (treatment) group or the SOC group. Patients randomized to the ketorolac group will receive ketorolac every 6 hours for up to five days during the perioperative period; patients discharged prior to completing the five-day regimen will complete the remainder of treatment with oral ketorolac. Pain and opioid use will be measured daily during the five-day treatment period. Opioid use will be measured and functional response to pain surveys will be obtained at discharge, 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months after injury. Researchers will compare patients receiving ketorolac (treatment) plus SOC versus those receiving SOC alone to determine if ketorolac reduces chronic opioid use and improves the functional response to pain.
